If you’re experiencing a turning point in your life:

A move to a new home or community, a new baby, a marriage engagement, or the attainment of new citizenship…

To arrange your Welcome Neighbor™ Greeting Visit, click here:
greetvisit@welcomeneighbor.us

… we have a "welcome basket" full of gifts and greeting card/gift certificates to bring to you, along with our "insider tips" on some of the best connections you’ll need to smooth your new beginnings: the local clubs, a great catering company, a Mom’s group, a good place to buy a wall stencil or Philly-style hoagie, local night school classes, the community library, municipal building… it’s our commitment to help you find those valuable resources that make times of change a genuine serendipity. We hope you’ll often say, "My Welcome Neighbor™ representative was right; this is a wonderful town."

We’re proud to tell newcomers about proper use of "down the shore" (New Jersey) and "at the beach" (Delaware). We want to introduce them to the 6,000 miles of shoreline that edge the Chesapeake Bay, skiing opportunities at the Pocono Mountains, the pumpkin-carving contest at the Chadds Ford Historical Society (and the "pumpkin-chunkin’" event in nearby Delaware), the Southern Chester County foxhunting and steeplechase traditions, and the world-class gardens of Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. And the cities of Philadelphia, New York and Washington, all within day-trip range from the Brandywine Valley, Delaware County and Chester County. And, travel to Lancaster County for the "Amish Experience" or to Reading to shop at the outlets--- all close to your new home.

Welcome Neighbor™ is looking forward to bringing our greeting service to you as you relocate.

If you are a business or professional person:

Committed to excellence and to reaching out into your community, you may qualify as a sponsor for the Welcome Neighbor™ program!

We identify our potential sponsors the way a good hunting dog does: we keep circling the area until we pick up the scent of an outstanding business committed to quality and service, and then we know we’re on the right trail. Through our own personal experience, and by asking and asking, we’re good at tracking excellence.

If you are looking for a unique way to keep or to get your business growing, we may be your best resource to add the personal touch to your total marketing program. 20% of all Americans relocate every year, and that can represent lost business… or found business, with our Welcoming Service. The investment is predictable and very affordable for even small and new business owners.

We’ve dedicated 30 years’ of experience to helping business owners create success, and we’re ready to help you.

Welcome Neighbor™, a service strong on American values

In many parts of the world a new neighbor is not a cause for celebration, it is a call to arms.

One of the many beautiful facets of life in a free country is the tradition of welcoming new neighbors;  and Welcome Neighbor™ does it very well… it’s our business.  But, to us it’s more than just business that makes us love what we do!

Welcome Neighbor™ was created by two people motivated by a strong urge to unite people to achieve mutual benefits. Bob and Anne Pounds have been together more than 45 years.   Starting in 1968 they brought together many people in a successful network marketing business . That business is still expanding and is now a self-managing e-commerce operation.

Anne is very involved in community activities related to bringing folks together.  She has been a key person in forming the Chadds Ford Open Space Committee which has a goal to protect open spaces and direct development along “people-friendly” lines.

In 1998, Welcome Neighbor™ was launched  (read our “Fact Sheet” for details of our objectives).

We’d enjoy hearing from you.  Give us your ideas on how to improve our service.
